Students will explore music through hands on experiences with ukuleles, non-conventional percussion instruments, and music composition software/apps.

- Learn how to read rhythm through bucket drumming
- Learn to play in an ensemble
- Learn how to read chord charts via ukulele
- Learn to create original compositions through the use of music software
Requirements/regulations
This is an enrichment class and all work can be completed during class time as long as class time is used wisely. Students may be asked to search for a song/video/artist outside of class a couple times throughout the semester but that will not happen often.
Students are expected to bring their laptop, a writing utensil, and an open mind to each class.
