Music 8
This class is a continuation of the fundementals learned in Music 7. Students will deepen their understanding of music through hands on experiences with ukuleles, non-conventional percussion instruments, and music composition software/apps.

- Composition and notation through bucket drumming
- Learn to read the treble clef via ukulele
- Accompany others while playing ukulele
- Learn to create original compositions through the use of music software

This is an enrichment class and all work can be completed during class time as long as class time is used wisely. Students may be asked to search for a song/video/artist outside of class a couple times throughout the semester but that will not happen often.
Students are expected to bring their laptop, a writing utensil, and an open mind to each class.
